Cadet Rangers, Saturday 21 June | Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre

In this hands-on outdoors experience designed for teens, you will gain real-life skills, meet other nature lovers and take on exciting challenges in Queensland’s wild places. Discover the wildlife that might be living (or lurking) locally as you learn how to identify the signs, tracks, and scats of native fauna. Grab a hand lens to check for evidence of diggings, scratch marks, feathers, and, of course, animal poo.

Please note that these free sessions do not include admission to the centre for participants outside of the session or for family members.

Parks Connect is proudly supported through funding from the Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
